Gas Assisted Plunger Lift (GAPL) is a hybrid artificial lift system that enhances the performance of gas lift wells by integrating a plunger mechanism. This dual-lift strategy optimizes fluid removal, improves production, reduces fallback, and helps minimize injection gas usage. GAPL is particularly effective in unconventional gas wells with high gas-liquid ratios (GLRs) or scale/paraffin issues.
